North Point Computers ("we") runs NPC Snacks. This explains what we collect and why. It's written plainly and is not legal advice.
What we collect
- You give us: name, apartment, email, optional mobile number, what you'd like stocked, and your SMS-marketing choice.
- Payment: your card is stored and charged by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number — only the card brand and last 4 digits, plus a Stripe token used to bill the club.
- Cooler purchases: the machine reports a masked card fingerprint (bank ID + last 4) with each purchase. We match your saved card's last 4 to recognize your purchases and personalize perks.
How we use it
- To deliver your free snack and club rewards, stock what you want, and personalize perks.
- To email you club news, and — only if you opted in — to text you deals.
- To bill the snack club to your saved card, if you subscribe.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't share it except with the processors that run the service (Stripe for payments, our email/text senders). We don't use covert tracking to identify you across other sites.
Texts (SMS)
Marketing texts are sent only with your express written consent, which you give by checking the opt-in box at signup. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help. Consent is never a condition of getting the free snack.
Keeping & removing data
We keep your info while you're a member. You can ask us to delete it anytime — see Your data rights.
